Piatykhatky-Bam

Delivering vital aid and evacuation support to frontline communities.

About

Public Organisation "Piatykhatky-BAM" is a volunteer-led group formed in February 2022. The organisation delivers critical humanitarian aid, including food and hygiene kits, to villages in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions that are recently liberated or under shelling and cut off from essential services. The team evacuates civilians and animals from active combat zones and provides ongoing support to vulnerable populations. Their efforts also extend to animal care, organising events for children affected by the conflict, and helping residents clear debris and seal homes damaged by shelling. As a small, local organisation, "Piatykhatky-BAM" possesses the agility to reach small localities that larger organisations cannot, providing direct support to those most in need.

Noel's Comments

I first met Tina, the leader of this organisation, while our teams were co-operating on evacuations in Kupiansk. Her commitment is deeply personal and resolute. I soon learned that just four weeks prior, her husband had been killed during one of their evacuations in the very same area. The fact that she continues this tireless work, not only in the Kharkiv region but wherever the crisis is most acute, is a testament to her incredible strength and dedication. I trust her and her organisation implicitly.
