The CAT Gen 7 and the SICH. The CAT Gen 7 is made in the United States by North American Rescue. The SICH is made in Kyiv by Sich-Ukraine.

How much does a genuine CAT Gen 7 cost in Ukraine?

From €25.33 (1 295 ₴) per tourniquet today, or from 1 300 ₴ if you buy a single one. In Poland, Germany and the UK the same CAT Gen 7 starts at €32.22. Prices on this page are checked every day.

Is the SICH as good as the CAT Gen 7?

In a 2026 study with ultrasound checks, the SICH stopped arterial blood flow in 98% of arm applications, against 94% for the CAT Gen 7. The CAT Gen 7 needed fewer turns and was rated easiest to use. One caveat: the study used healthy volunteers, not casualties.

How do I spot a fake CAT tourniquet?

Price is the clearest warning. A CAT Gen 7 far below 1 300 ₴ is unlikely to be genuine. Real ones are made in the United States by North American Rescue, so buy from a specialist shop that names the maker, not from a marketplace listing. In an independent test, CAT lookalikes applied about a fifth of the force of a genuine CAT, and one in twenty-five ruptured.

Is it cheaper to buy tourniquets in Ukraine than in the EU?

Yes. A CAT Gen 7 costs from €25.33 (1 295 ₴) in Ukraine and from €32.22 in Poland, Germany or the UK. Buying in Ukraine also keeps the money in the Ukrainian economy.

Can I buy tourniquets in bulk?

Yes. Several Ukrainian shops sell the CAT Gen 7 in packs of 4, 10 or 25, which usually lowers the price per tourniquet. The table divides every pack price per tourniquet, so you can compare them directly.

Why aren’t marketplaces like Prom or Rozetka listed?

Marketplace listings are hard to verify. Several we checked named the wrong manufacturer for a “genuine” CAT Gen 7. This tracker lists specialist shops only.

How are the prices checked?

Every day we read each shop’s own product page for the price and the stock status. Pack prices are divided per tourniquet, and other currencies use that day’s National Bank of Ukraine rate.
