The Place Under The Sun operates at the critical intersection of animal rescue and frontline humanitarian aid. The organization functions as a vital shelter, currently providing comprehensive care for 200 dogs. Its team focuses on treating, socializing, and rehabilitating animals in distress, specializing in those who have suffered abuse.
This mission extends far beyond the shelter walls. The organization manages a large-scale international rehoming network, successfully placing animals in loving families across Europe and North America. Alongside this vital work, they also run spay/neuter programs for wild animals and deliver essential humanitarian aid and packages to military personnel.
